Imani "Who She Think She Is" Dct PC Adkins

This is a small example of the hdr that we will seek to achieve in the opening scenes--
Reflective qualities and glossiness.
Imani- “Who She Think she Is” Official Treatment
Dct- PC Adkins
DP- Jess Dunlap
Prod. Co. RDMG

The Look- Glossy - - High fashion - -Poppy skin tones, desaturated and drab colors [lots and lots and lots of blacks and shadows]; relevant. The majority of the flick emulates that of an expensive, G-Unit, Vibe photoshoot including the dance number. Lots of leathers, wet, gritty, and grainy. HDR lighting will remain heavily incorporated throughout the dance montage(S). Reflective (shiny) flooring [black plexi]. Very organic, concrete structure-esq. The most expensive looking elements being incorporated throughout the flick are the reflective flooring along with the HDR-lighting technique. Bright teal-blue and dark blue Kinos are also being utilized for the reflection-in-sunglass performance gag with Imani solo as well as the dancers’ choreographed sexy- glossy heel gag.

The Vibe- Extremely high fashion and expensive. Everything appears as if the label spent a minimum 75,000 usd. We want to garner a jaw-dropping response from any and every individual who has a personal encounter with the flick. Our goal is to cast Imani, the artist, in a light comparable to those with whom she is in brand competition  (i.e G-Unit, Game, YG, Snoop Dogg, Lil Kim, Ciara etc). Sleek and sexy is the mindset in which we are approaching this particular flick. The attitudes emitted from this visual presentation seek to cast down any and every ounce or notion of competitive force on the underside of Imani’s brand. In other words, can’t nobody touch Imani or her work of art. The entire video screams “ This trick is a freakin’ millionaire.” Kids want to BECOME Imani after being enthralled by this presentation. Truly an immeasurable response even before the video  hit’s a million views.

The Video- Ext. Beauty Shop- Women inside the shop shooting the breeze, talking mess as usual. Bell rings and a stunted out woman walks in. Heels, scantily clad and looking like a stunna fresh off of the set of Basketball Wives. The music erupts into a dumbed down silence. Blank stares and whispers from every individual in the beauty shop. Apparently, Imani is the BOSS. Segway directly into the performance gag with the dancers grouped in front of a wet concrete wall + floor. Light blue Hour Glass- I- shaped Kinos reflecting heavily in the background as well as camera aft in the dancer’s sunglasses. These performance takes also include a solo take of each individual female dancer with invisible phone numbers tattooed heavily throughout the body. Male dancers interacting heavily with the female dancers. We feature another performance heavy gag towards the climax of the flick in which a blacklight tube is strewn across each of the dancers revealing  a sexy and appealing medley of phone numbers scattered all over each woman’s body. Another performance gag features Imani against the same wet concrete wall along with an additional sheet of black plexi-glass or shiny tile below in an effort to push the reflective floor effect. The goal is to aim for as high fashion and expensive-esq as possible. The more we can sell the high dollar look, the more credibility Imani receives for her brand.

Execution- 7d + 5d setup dolly, slider, twixtor, all of the goods out on this one. The intro choreographed scenes will all be shot in timelapse hdr doubling for a magical effect with the girls dancing in front of the wet, kino-strewn concrete wall. Twixtor will come in handy when relaying the matrix-esq effect of the dancers in extremely slow cu frames while suddenly cutting to a fast-framed exploit of the clip. SEE VIDEOS BELOW FOR EXAMPLES.

Ex.

Color for the duration of the videos. Girly, yet bossy and womanly in a sense. Preserve that sexual quality.

Shiny floor effect throughout the flick. This applies to both the tiles and the wetdown. More detailed explanation on the scout.

HDR overall magical quality added to the flick.
